I love their iOS version so I downloaded this without hesitation but got an error when I tried to open it. Im sure to change my review once it does work and expect great things.

Im getting the same error message as the first review, though mine worked for a day or so beforehand. Which really irks me, because I was really digging this version of solitaire—it has a nice aesthetic and is a lot smoother to play than the free alternative. Ill be happy to give a better rating once an update fixes the game-breaking error.

I had no issues downloading this app today (Jan 7, 2011 @ 6:30pm MST) If you are trying to find a Solitaire game for your Mac stop looking, you have found the best version available! This game leaves everyone else in the dust. I have this app for my iPhone, iPad, and old school Palm. I thought I would give it a try on my Mac. I am amazed at how well this is game has been put together. The UI is beautiful and feels like every pixel has been considerer. Thank you Smallware for continuing to make excellent applications for mobile devices!

Great waste of time very nice graphics

Tha bug really bugged me when connecting to my external monitor. Now, the fix has made it so that I can launch the app whether or not Im connected to my external display. The app is awesome. Presentation, game variety, and design above every other solitaire app on the store for a very competitive price.

the game is very good, but it is irritating when there is no moves for the current game and there is no indication for it. Every time, you have to start new game..no hint button??

great great app just like the iOS version. clean, simple, varied, and functional. but would it really be "helping" or "cheating" if the app could tell us when a game is a lost cause? That would be more of a feature that eliminates tedious play.

Be aware that the cards do not look like real cards. For hardcore card players that rely upon visual patern matching you may find this problematic

I love this application on my iOS devices and have for years. I decided to purchase it for my Retina Macbook Pro and was disheartened upon launching that it was not optimized for the retina display. As a result it looks somewhat craggy, as all non-‘retina’ graphics do on the retina display. Great game, will be a 5-star review when high-res graphics are added.

The Mac version doesn’t have as many games as th IOS version. Doesn’t have my personal Favprite. Paid for this way back when (before the App store) and now I have to pay for it again and it isn"t as good as the old one.

I own the same version for iPad/iPhone wich has very simple card. Here the cards are difficult to read as they are NOT standard. POOR design. Please use the same cards for this version!

Please update this Mac version just like the iOS version! That would be perfect. There are some slight pauses with the app too.

This allows for vegas scoring and three card flip; however, it does not retain scores. The graphics are not the best. I hope edge rift creates a version for the Mac. I have this on my iPad and so far this is the best.

Freecell does not allow you to move stacks of cards; do not purchase if you plan to play Freecell.

So excited to finally have a great looking solitaire for my Mac. Ive been playing Solebon forever on my iphone. My kids love it too! Now I wont be able to keep them off my computer. Graphics are so clean and appealing. Works smoothly. Really great .99 purchase!!

Ive been playing Solebon on my iPhone for a couple years now. Solebon for Mac offers all of the same games in on the desktop. For those (like me) who like to keep track of the stats like win %, you can now keep the stats on screen full time. This is a big win for me... I like to play a hard style like Scorpion over 100 hands and try to maximize my win %. I have only one complaint- the graphics for the face cards (Jack, Queen, King). While nicely rendered, I do not like the style at all, and I find it extremely distracting. Id love to see an option to display more traditional playing card graphics.

Just like the iPhone version, this Solitaire game is very well done. Shame about the multi monitor bug, but good that theyve managed to find the issue and submit a patch.

Buyer beware, this software does not work! Upon starting the application I get "An exception of class NilObjectException was not handled. The application must shut down." Nothing else, no help, no nothing but a waste of a buck. DO NOT BUY THIS SOFTWARE, it does not work. I thought that Apple would at least do a test run of what they are selling. I just read that many others are having the same problem, especially with multiple monitors. What kind of developer writes software that does not work with two monitors. I think this Apple App Store thing is not going to workout very well if Apple allows developers like this to rip off customers like this. Ill give apple another month to get their stuff together, but I will not give this developer any longer, it was too stupid of a mistake.
